From the first visit and estimate to the finished job, working with Bulls Eye Building and Remodeling has been an excellent experience. With the remodeling of our kitchen they took a vision and worked it into a finished product that exceeded expectations. Their suggestions, based on experience, and the options they presented allowed us to maximize our remodeling budget. We found their pricing to be competitive and they proved to be very creative with the challenges of working in an older home. At all times the work crew was professional, considerate and clean. To date they have completely remodeled our kitchen, done extensive woodwork throughout our home and rental properties, installed several windows, a complete bathroom, and replaced a roof. No job was considered finished until we were totally satisfied with the result and each job was completed within a predetermined window of time. Bulls Eye came to us highly recommended and we can honestly pass on that recommendation with pleasure and confidence.

Bulls Eye Building & Remodeling built a two car garage onto the end of our home, and converted the existing garage into a family room. The job entailed carpentry, installing roof trusses, electric, heating & plumbing. In a prior job, Bulls Eye rebuilt a home we rented to others, after a devastating fire nearly destroyed it. Both jobs were completed on time and within budget.

The garage construction involved multiple municipal inspections (footings, foundation, grading, electric & plumbing) … every inspection passed the first time, the various inspectors were always pleased.

We appreciated that materials were carefully scheduled for delivery to the job on a just-in-time basis to save large quantities of materials being stored in the yard, unnecessarily damaging the turf. The requisite-larger load of lumber was kept out of the way but available for immediate convenient use during the construction process, which kept the job moving without delay. . Every day the job site was left clean and neat. Our home is located across the street from an elementary school, the crew was always respectful of the morning & afternoon needs of the children & their parents when school opened and let-out in the mid-afternoon.

In their first job for us, an older home that we rented to others was heavily damaged by fire … Bullseye handled the complete job of rebuilding the home, which necessarily entailed many upgrades. For example, the work involved heavy duty demolition and new structural framing meeting the then-new hurricane building codes; this work also passed every inspection on the first try. The job included new siding & windows, naturally-finished wood-floor repair of damage created by the firemen during the process of extinguishing the fire. All of the repair work to the floors blended right in with the old, it was amazing finish work! Obviously the house required an entirely new roof; this roof survived the devastating Hurricane Sandy, without a leak!

Without our asking, the bathroom and kitchen walls were surfaced with the new mold & moisture resistant sheet rock instead of the old-code green sheet rock. We were not charged extra for this upgrade in materials.

The work also included building a new third-floor fire escape. This involved coordinating inspections by the fire-code official as well as the building-code official. Again, every inspection passed on the first try. Also, the neighbors complimented us that the work was accomplished with no disruption or construction dust on their property.

Because rebuilding the fire-damaged house was so extensive, it was not possible for us as owners to anticipate all the work in advance. Extra work that we added during the job was priced very fairly, we had no complaints. Our insurance company approved every step for immediate payment.

This is an obviously talented company with a regular crew of cheerful carpenters and mechanics, capable of design-build, easily able to adjust to evolving job-site conditions. We will definitely call them for future work.
